6. Research Writing - Introduction to Mendeley
by Dp Tripathi 01 Feb '19

01 Feb '19

Dear Friends, In the process of research writing, we come across many references and sources of different literatures and accordingly we cite them in our research proposals / writings. Arranging references and citing them properly manually, it is very difficult for anyone to do it easily. For this purpose, there are different reference management tools that can help in making this job easy and Mendeley is one of them. This video is about the introduction of Mendeley and its different uses in research writing in order to cite and arrange the references. Hope this video will help to understand the concept of Mendeley. The video can viewed at https://youtu.be/1Qrjv71oIFQ Feel free to suggest or write at librarianguide(a)gmail.com for improvement of the content. Research Writing - APA Referencing
by Dp Tripathi 28 Jan '19

28 Jan '19

Dear Friends, In the process of writing research proposals or scholarly publications, the referencing (citation) is very important. Through citations, the author gets credited for his/her noble work whose research result we are citing in our publication. But, how to write citation and prepare the list of references? There are many citation styles such as IEEE, Chicago, APA etc, and all of them provide some format through which we arrange the list and also cite in text. This video is about the same and can be viewed at https://youtu.be/bf1bnOOS0XU By watching this video, one will be able to understand the process of writing citation and prepare the reference list with ease. Please suggest the changes for improvement in the content and feel free to write at librarianguide(a)gmail.com Source: www.apastyle.org Thanks DP Tripathi -- ********************************* *Dhanwantari Prakash Tripathi* MA (ECO), MLISc, HDISM, ECDL ********************************* Assistant Librarian, Periodicals Biju Patnaik Central Library National Institute of Technology Rourkela, Odisha –769008 INDIA ********************************* *YouTube - Librarian Guide <https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqq2XkD5KKp5W7VrMJOsGhw>* ********************************* *M - +91-8895296796* *U - www.dptripathi.in <http://www.dptripathi.in> * ********************************* -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.
