In todays world, it is also considered as an arena where patrons of varying ages and from different communities converge and work collaboratively on different creative projects. A library space is one of such a platform. The seminar intends to introduce the essence of what a library space is through its evolution, essential features and motivation. It will also discuss the various different types of library spaces, a generic model for planning a library space, and, how to re-think and re-design them. Finally, it concludes by focusing on merits, de-merits, issues, criticism and a few real-life implementations of library spaces. The seminar intends to introduce the concept of a Data Warehouse, and, its working architecture. It will deliberate on several associated concepts and processes in Data Warehousing, along with tool(s) to facilitate it.
