Dear All, A half-day free workshop on 'Six Sigma for LIS Professionals' is being organized by NCSI-Net Foundation in collaboration with Karnataka State Library Association (KALA) and Raman Research Institute (RRI). Six Sigma Black Belt experts from the industry will be sharing their expertise knowledge during the workshop. Fellow professionals are encouraged to attend the seminar and get to understand the set of techniques and tools for process improvement. An article on an OA repository in a toll-access journal

Friends: I saw a reference to this paper on an Indian open access repository in agriculture: K. Veeranjaneyulu, (2014) "KrishiKosh: an institutional repository of National Agricultural Research System in India", Library Management, Vol. 35 Iss: 4/5, pp.345 - 354. But this article itself is published in a toll access journal. One has to pay $32 + VAT to obtain a copy from Emerald. Hope authors from ICAR will publish their papers - at least the ones dealing with open access - in OA journals. The author could have considered publishing this paper in *Ariadne* or *First Monday*.
