Karnataka State College Librarians' Association is organizing its fifth National Conference - LIBTRANS 2014 sponsored by UGC @ BESANT EVENING COLLEGE, MANGALORE along with Dakshina Kannada and Kodagu Library Association on the theme `Libraries and Librarianship in Transition: Challenges and opportunities' on 22-23 August 2014. It is a unique opportunity for all the library professionals in the country to share their experiences and keep themselves up-to-date with the current developments in pursuance of rendering effective services to the user community. Original papers on the theme of the conference and sub-themes (i.e. Librarian and Librarianship, Knowledge Management, Internet and Networking Services, User Education, Technology in Libraries, E-Resource Management and Collection Development) may be sent to libtrans2014(a)gmail.com before 7th July 2014.
