by mailman＠ncsi.iisc.ernet.in 06 Aug '15

From: "Subbiah Arunachalam" <subbiah.arunachalam(a)gmail.com> Date: Wed, August 5, 2015 11:03 pm Friends: There is a nationwide movement in the US to make all publicly funded educational resources open access. Many organizations including library associations have sent a joint letter to President Obama requesting him to "issue a strong Administration policy to ensure that they are made available to the public as Open Educational Resources to freely use, share, and build upon." < http://www.arl.org/storage/documents/publications/ltr-to-white-house-re-ope… >. This is a policy we can adopt in India too. Arun http://orcid.org/0000-0002-4398-4658 http://www.researcherid.com/rid/B-9925-2009
