Indian Statistical Institute, Bangalore Centre Bangalore Centre Library 8th Mile, Mysore Road, Bangalore 560059 ------------------------------ The Library, Indian Statistical Institute, Bangalore Centre, is pleased to announce “One Day Workshop on Recent Trends and Technologies in Libraries" to be held on 27th November 2024 at the Indian Statistical Institute, Bangalore Centre. This workshop will feature insightful talks from Dr. Kishore Chandra Satpathy, Chief Librarian, Indian Statistical Institute, who will share his expertise and perspectives on the latest developments shaping the field of Library and Information Sciences. Workshop Details: - Date: 27th November 2024 - Venue: Indian Statistical Institute, Bangalore Centre Who Should Attend: Professionals, researchers, and students in the fields of Library and Information Science, as well as anyone interested in current advancements in the discipline. Friends, Come the New Year's Day in less than two months, we will be able to access for free a very large number of books and recordings (whose copyright expires this year). Please see https://everybodyslibraries.com/2024/11/01/the-remainder-of-the-roaring-20s… . Do we have an annual list of books published in India (and recordings) that go out of copyright and thus become freely accessible to the public? I don't know. With warm regards, Arun
