Using GenISISweb it is possible to create web based Digital Libraries keeping CDS/ISIS as back-end database, to create WebOPAC of library collection which is in CDS/ISIS, to create online Journals gateways for electronic (even for print) journals, or any other web based information services with a much userfriendly and effective way. Availability of modern ICT infrastructure forced the libraries to offer many of their services over network, especially over the Web. Emergence of e-only resources, requirement from users for e-resources, and availability of suitable communication mechanisms etc have also compelled to provide electronic information services. Provision of Web based information service is costly and some times becomes unaffordable to many Libraries. This Workshop focuses on giving a practical orientation to GenISISWeb for creating web based Information Service. Participation is expected from Librarians, LIS Students, Academia and Industry.
