Here is the complete book of 18 pages of the comic book Kashtanova. Looks fine, I can not imagine it was produced by AI !! I wish to remind you that AI itself is a product of the human brain only. There are self learning mechanisms built in and therefore one day it may outgrow our expectations / limitations! Publications have more importance than experience in selection of candidates for interview. The following message is given by Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh for selection of candidates for interview for Assistant Librarian post. "*Based on the prescribed eligibility criteria, and the candidates fulfilling the same and on the basis of the API Score, the top 15 candidates (maximum) have been shortlisted for interviews. Only shortlisted eligible candidates are being called for interview*..." If publications get more importance then post like deputy librarian, librarian will also be based on publications than many years of experience. There is no uniformity in selection criteria nowadays in various institutions. The experts in library domains need to frame a standard for this. Friends, OSTP will soon expect all research resulting from US Govt funding to be deposited in a repository. Writing on 'Decoding the OSTP Public Access Memo,' Rob Johnson, Director of Research Consulting, Nottingham, UK, has said, "the takeaway message for me was clear – the headline pathway to compliance with the new OSTP memo will be via deposit of an article in a repository. Don’t expect Uncle Sam to foot the bill for a gold rush" and "While publishers and librarians might have expected the two main ways to be the ‘gold’ (open access on the publisher platform) and ‘green’ (open or public access via a repository) pathways, in fact they corresponded to the two different versions of an article which can be deposited in a repository - the author accepted manuscript or the final published journal article."
