Query on MLIS and PhD dissertations and theses sources in India

Dear LIS professionals Apart from "Shodhganga" what are the online available sources for searching MLIS and Ph.D. dissertations and theses did in the library and information science departments of universities in India? In other words, if some LIS professional is doing MLIS or wishes to do Ph. D. which sources are there he/she may consult to see the recent dissertations and thesis done in India? The "Shodhganga" websites says "The UGC Notification (Minimum Standards & Procedure for Award of M.Phil. / Ph.D Degree, Regulation, 2016) dated 5th May 2016 mandates submission of electronic version of theses and dissertations by the researchers in universities with an aim to facilitate open access to Indian theses and dissertations to the academic community worldwide." My questions are following: 1. Is all the MLIS and Ph.D. theses and dissertations submitted by the students to Shodhganga? 2. If they do not submit it to "Shodhganga" then what are the prominent active repositories where students submit their research work? 3. What search methodology a MLIS and Ph.D. students should adopt to view the already done researchers in the LIS field in India? Dear Professionals, The Department of Studies in Library and Information Science, University of Mysore, Mysuru is organising a two-day workshop on “Library automation of college libraries using Koha” on January 11-12, 2018. The workshop is useful for librarians, information professionals, teachers and researchers interested in the field of library automation. The number of participants to the workshop is limited to 30 only. The registration is strictly on the first-cum-first-serve basis. Every participant will get hands-on training in the workshop. The participants will be trained intensively by experienced resource persons in all the Koha modules including installation and customisation. The registration fee for the workshop is Rs. 1000 to be paid by DD. The DD may be drawn in favour of the Chairman, Department of Studies in Library and Information Science, University of Mysore, Mysuru 570 006 payable at Mysuru. Over the years the Department has established the facilities required for training the students, researchers and librarians in library automation. A newly developed laboratory, with more than 30 computers, is well-suited for organising the workshops in the areas of library automation, digital libraries, open courseware and so on. CONTRIBUTIONS Contributions can be theoretical as well as technical and practical. Informative case studies are also welcome. Contributions are not limited with the main theme: Â all types of papers, posters and presentations on information management in general are also welcome. The audience will be information professionals, data librarians, data curators, data managers, knowledge managers, researchers, information scientists, data scientists and computer engineers, among others. We acceptÂ extended abstractsÂ (no less than 750 words) for full papers; short communications, Research in Progress reports, and posters on all aspects of Post-truth and also information management. Extended abstracts for student papers and posters are also welcome. Extended abstracts of PhD students to present the interim findings of their ongoing research will also be considered. Please use the template available on the Symposium web site soon to prepare your contributions and send them to us using the Conference Management Software (openconf)Â by 1Â February, 2017.
