Very sad to know that Prof Neelameghan is no more. I knew him well, and indeed members of his family, and had also worked closely with him when I was Research Assistant to Dr Ranganathan, and based in DRTC. It was very recently only I was told by ARD Prasad that Professor was keeping good health. Great loss to the profession! My condolences to the family. To all professional fraternity in India and friends of Prof. Neelameghan outside India, It is with great agony and sadness I wish to convey to you all that Prof. A.Neelameghan passed away on 28th July 2014 at 8.30 am. He was not keeping good health since few months however he was quite active till he fell ill, as he used to attend all professional programmes and lecture arranged at SRELS.
