Dear library professional friends, I have the following doubts. Your kind help could make me more strong in our field. 1. Do we have to maintain any separate SOP for the Library Committee. We have SOP for the library. However, our internal auditors are advising me to make a separate SOP for the Library Committee. If you have please share with me at :pradipbhadreswardas@gmail.com 2. In case of collection development we are deciding the collection in accordance with the number of students in section/division. According to AICTE rules a section may have 60 students. However, if we have less than 60 students, should we not consider that section as a section or division? Sad demise of Shri Sunder Singh

When I was student of Associateship in Information Science at INSDOC in 1985, he used to come to our institute in the evening to meet our classmate Vajendra Joshi. His enthusiasm about the profession was so passionate and always motivated us to excel us. We enjoyed his conversation and his flawless English and his experiences in the profession. He helped me in completing my dissertation for Associateship degree. My friend Vajendra, his wife and Sunder Singh spent wonderful times in the beginning of my career. It has really saddened me and pray his family may able to bear this loss. His soul may rest in peace.
