We are happy to announce the 3rd International Conference ‘*Changing Landscape of Science & Technology Libraries (CLSTL 2025) <https://events.iitgn.ac.in/2025/clstl/> *to be held at IIT Gandhinagar, India, from *25th to 27th September 2025*. CGPA to Percentage Conversion in India

In India, many universities and educational institutions follow a standard formula to convert CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) into Percentage. Subject: Public institutions should not be party to unethical practices Friends, This paper may be of interest to you. https://katinamagazine.org/content/article/open-knowledge/2025/academic-dat… It tells you how unscrupulous commercial publishers are selling the same products at different prices to different institutions. Also, I don't understand why Indian government and government-aided institutions who use taxpayers' money to subscribe to journals and databases meekly and *unethically* accept the non-disclosure agreements dictated by the publishers. Do you sign such agreements when you buy a car or a shirt? Please read the article and tell me what you think of it. We do not need to hear sermons from these publishers on practicing open science and being ethical in our research. We need to discuss how soon we can escape the claws of greedy publishers and make the fruits of science available to all free of cost, enabling our peers to comment and provide constructive criticisms of scholarly work.
