Dear All, Vikram Sarabhai Library, IIM Ahmedabad and Informatics (I) Limited Bangalore are pleased to announce a seminar on “KOHA Implementation in Libraries – the IIMA Experience and beyond” on July 1, 2014 at IIMA. The seminar will cover the following topics: * Customizing Koha to suit IIM A Library requirements * IIMA experience of Koha implementation and plans for the next phase * Implementing advanced functionalities of Koha in an academic library * New release of Koha ver 3.16 * The Informatics version of the new release of Koha * Case studies from Koha users * Migration of data from other LMS to Koha The seminar will be held on July 01, 2014 atthe Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. The Department of Studies in Library and Information Science, University of Mysore, Mysore (MyDLIS) is in the verge of stepping into another mile stone. It is entering in to its Golden Jubilee year on June 24. It took birth on June 24, 1965. Entry into 50th year for an academic institution is very significant milestone in its life time line. It is the time for all of us to cherish the past and plan the future. It is the time for us to introspect and project the future development. In this context the Department likes to meet you in-person and interacts with you. The Inauguration Function of the Golden Jubilee Year is organized on Tuesday, the 24th June 2014.
