Dear All,   You all are cordially invited for next NCSI-NET meeting, which will be held on 20th of November'2004 by 11:00 AM at NCSI Seminar Hall, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. There will be a product presentation and demo on "Arogya" by Mr. Mumtaz Ahmed Khan along with Mr. R.Balamurugan and Dr. Amarnarayan of NAL. Mr. Mumtaz Khan is from second batch of NCSI TRAINING PROGRAMME. He is working as Scientist 'C', Information Management Division, NAL, Bangalore. Synopsis: Arogya is Web based Health Information Management System developed for the Health Center of NAL (applicable for all CSIR Labs). It is developed using Java and Developer as front end and Oracle 9i as back end. The software has got several modules right from the doctor diagnosis till dispensing of medicine and other investigations which are carried out within the health center. Further it also takes care of outside investigations, consultations and hospitalization. The software is developed by Dr. Amarnarayan, R.Balamurugan, Mumtaz Ahmed Khan, Mrs. Palguni and Dr. S. Bhogle.
