InformaticsStudies: Papers on Cultural HeritageInformation Systems -Invited

Dear Scholars Cultural heritage connects people to social and cultural values, customs, beliefs, religions, and the knowledge generated by our forefathers in different spheres of activity including science and technology; accumulated through centuries which we need to sustain and transfer to future generations. Informatics can provide innovative tools and technologies for management of heritage assets and knowledge embedded in them for dissemination in society. Informatics Studies proposes to bring out a special volume on Cultural Heritage Information System (CHIS) in October 2021. The volume will give stress to various aspects of cultural heritage information systems including digitization tools and technologies, retrieval mechanisms, metadata and indexing, policy issues, standards and guidelines, semantic and ontological frameworks and the best practices and case studies pertaining to CHIS. The journal Informatics Studies is in its eighth year of publication and select issues are accessible at: informaticsstudies.org. We invite papers for publication in the special volume on Cultural Heritage Information System (CHIS) first issue (8 (4) October - December 2021. Papers received up to 1st September 2021 will be considered for 8 (4) Issue. Papers are to be uploaded to the journal site. A copy can be sent by e-mail as MS Word file attaché.
