If you know, practice and preach what Dr Ranganathan has written about is more than sufficient. Why do you expect a fresh MLISc graduate to know about what American authors are writing about. If he wants to expand his knowledge and scholarship over a period of time he will expand his horizons. Other wise he will continue doing his job and serving the readers !!
