SRELS, MILAN, and Informatics Present LIBRARIANS’ DAY 2021 SRR QUIZ 2021 The Library and Information Science (LIS) community in India are aware that August 12, the birthday of Dr. S. R. Ranganathan, is observed as Librarians' Day. The Sarada Ranganathan Endowment for Library Science (SRELS), the Mysore University Library & Information Science Alumni Association (MILAN), and Informatics (India) Ltd. are pleased to announce the organization of a quiz programme•SRR QUIZ 2021, for students of LIS in Indian universities to commemorate and celebrate the occasion. The quiz will be open to BLISc and MLISc Students in all Indian universities. The SRR Quiz 2021 will be held in two rounds: * Round 1: an online quiz scheduled for August 9, 2021 * Round 2: stage quiz (virtual) scheduled for August 12, 2021, as part of Librarians’ Day celebration The Online quiz will be for 30 minutes comprising 50 MCQs related to SRR and his contributions. The top-scoring six students in the first round will qualify for the second round. The six top scorers will be grouped into three teams (of 2 students each), and the final quiz (40 minutes) will be held as part of the Librarians' Day program scheduled to be held online on August 12, 2021, between 3 and 5 PM.
