One post.* *Position Type:* Full-time. *Job Summary:* Chanakya university is looking for a highly motivated & skilled expert to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot integrated library systems. This role requires hands-on experience with library automation systems & processes, ERM (Electronic Resources Management), remote access, library portal and social media. The candidate will be a part of the professional team in building a best-in-class academic library & knowledge centre. *Key Responsibilities:* - Handle and manage integrated library systems including, KOHA, D-Space, Remote access & discovery tools. - Oversee the Electronic Resources Management (ERM) including access management & licensing issues. - Proven abilities related to proxy servers, database management systems (DBMS), networking, and portal management. - Troubleshooting and technical support for library systems, ensuring minimal disruption to library operations. - Train other library staff on the above-mentioned systems and practices. *Skills and Competencies:* - Practical knowledge in installation, configuration and maintenance of above mentioned systems and related technologies. - Strong technical skills in DBMS, proxy servers, networking, and web design. - Excellent problem-solving skills, with an ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner. *Key Attributes:* - Ability to work independently as well as a team member. - Strong communication & interpersonal skills. - A strong passion for library services and a flair technology integration *Educational Requirements:* - Master's in library and information science (MLISc) or Master of Science (MS-LIS/ DRTC*) *(regular & full-time courses only) (Additional qualifications such as *PGDCA, PGDLAN, or PGDLIM* are equivalent programs are highly desirable). - Alternatively, B.Tech or BCA/ MCA candidates with a strong inclination towards library and information services. *Experience: *3-5 years of relevant experience. *Age limit* : 29 years.
