Dear Members, This posting is being made on behalf of chairman, NCSI. NCSI needs a Project Assistant for its ongoing Science Observatory Project. The candidate needs to possess a minimum qualification of a First Class Master's degree in Library and Information Science preferably with NCSI/DRTC/NISCAIR (INSDOC) experience. The candidate should be interested in bibliometric/scientometric analysis and familiar with searching databases such as Web of Science, Scopus, Google Scholar. The candidate will also be expected to analyze the data using standard software like Excel. The position will start from 1 Dec and is for a period of 3 years but would be renewed on a continual assessment every three months for satisfactory performance.
