Lachance. "Opening up the Click U certificate courses to non-members will make this advanced training accessible to any information professional."   Most SLA certificate courses are offered online through the association's Click University and are taught by instructors who are thought leaders in their fields. Courses in the competitive intelligence certificate program cover topics such as planning and development, research, analysis, intelligence delivery, and managing intelligence. The popular copyright management curriculum includes instruction in domestic and international copyright law, digital copyright issues, use of copyright-protected materials, digital license agreements, copyright collective agreements (such as the Copyright Clearance Center and Access Copyright), managing content and copyright compliance.   The knowledge management certificate courses teach participants how to expertly harness and manage proprietary knowledge, and how to apply and use that knowledge in conjunction with industry information to support enterprise-wide decision making, research and innovation.
