Respected All Library Professionals, Karnataka Public Service Commission has invited applications for filing up 167 Librarians posts in First Grade colleges of Karnataka. The qualification is MLISc+UGC. My question is why librarians are categorized under 'C' grade?. If Librarians are 'C' grade, what are the qualifications for the posts in 'C' grade? For the Lecturer post in Group 'A' only the PG with First class is the qualification!!!!. Why this difference?? Experts can answer. Thimmappa N. I don't think any expert would be able to answer that. Perhaps
Karnataka Public Service Commission itself would be right agency to
answer it. BTW, getting answer is made easy now. You may file RTI
query in this regard. Even Library Associations should seek an answer.
