I would like to request you that please forward this information to all students and HOD’s of your institution and also with a request  to display the news on your library notice board for information of students..   ALL INDIA ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION BMA and IFAN announce an essay competition on; “The market economy and its impact on the Global Financial Crisis”. The essays should not be more than 5,000 words in length, properly referenced and should reflect the author's original work. An increasingly flat world with vanishing borders has led to the growth of capitalism in hitherto non-capitalistic countries. This had made not only individual countries, but the world as a whole subject to the vagaries of market economies and the consequences thereof. The participants can answer the questions given here or can think of any other interesting issues associated with Government intervention and the free market economy. Topic “ The market economy and its impact on the Global Financial Crisis” * What is the optimal level of regulation in the economy? * Was lack of regulation the cause of the financial crisis in the US last year? * Is information coordinated better under a market mechanism than under tightly regulated command structures? * Is innovation fostered better under a market economy?
