[LIS-Forum] Dr Bhisham Lal is no more

Dear friends, It is very sad to hear the sudden demise of a senior LIS professional Dr Bhooshan Lal. He is a visionary who developed Library automation software at IIT Kanpur. Librarian, Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur on 5th May 2021 in Noida during his sleep due to brain tumor, he is survived by his two daughters, Priya kaul (9818577903) and Sajunkta Talwar. He was one of the founding Librarians at the starts of digitization and formation of Consortiuns in 2001 and was one of the founding memebrs of the INDEST Consortium.
