Nominations are invited for the 2005 SATKAL Awards given each year to an
individual for outstanding achievement in Library and Information science
and for promoting Librarianship. The last date for receiving nominations
is November 15, 2005.

* Punjab National Librarian Award
* Young Librarian Award
* Women Librarian Award
Eligibility
The working Library and Information Science professionals of Indian origin are
eligible to apply.
Age Limit : For Young Librarian Award, Professional must be below 45 years.
The nominations can be either self nominations or nominated by someone.
Written nominations must include
Name of the nominee, Job Title, Organisation, Mailing Address, Phone No., Email Address, Award Category, A detailed profile highlighting the educational & professional experience, significant contributions made in the field of Library and
Information Science, publications etc., a paragraph (limit to one page) stating how you find yourself eligible for the award.
The only way the people who make a difference can be recognised is if "you"
nominate them. Do it now.
