It's very shocking to hear the sad untimely demise of my classmate
popularly known among us as DR - D R Kulkarni. Late Veeranna Cholin and
Dattu were from the same place Gagendragad a small town in Karnataka. Both
Cholin and and Dattu used to sit in the very first row of the BLISc class
room. A sobre personality by nature, Dattu was a real gentleman. Having
faced initial hiccups in professional career, rose to the position of
library manager at BCL Ahmedabad. A truly spirited man, a good friend
helped many youngsters over the years. I just can't forget the ever smiling
face of him and the good moments that I had with him in the last three
decades.

It is really shocking for me to lose two of my classmates in a span of two
decades. Indeed a great loss to the profession.

May the almighty give strength to his family members to bear the huge loss
and accord moksha to the departed soul.
