*Vacancies* for the following positions on Ad-hoc/Contract basis (till March 31, 2012) at the Networking and Information Dissemination Cell (NID Cell) at the SNDT Women’s University Library under the UGC programme “Capacity Building of Women Managers in Higher Education”: *Two posts in the grade of Lecturer – 1 Open and 1 reserved for SC* *Qualifications : * 1. Good academic record with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade at Master’s Degree Level in Library and Information science/Women’s Studies/Information technology/Computer Applications or in Social Sciences /Humanities with a Women’s Studies component. 2. National Eligibility Test (NET) or SET as per rules The candidates should have good knowledge of Information Technology and English language *The work of the Lecturers will be:* To search out and prepare data for the website of the project, to identify and acquire resources (print and digital) for the NID Cell, and to carry out other information-related and administrative work as assigned by the Co-ordinator of the NID Cell. The job does not involve any teaching. Kindly note that the positions are temporary and contractual, till March 31, 2012. *Remuneration:* Rs. 26,000 (consolidated), likely to be revised.
