OA - The unfinished task

Friends: In a short interview I gave Amrit Dhir of Harvard Law School (recorded in 2011), I gave my views on open access. https://cyber.harvard.edu/node/95198 I said then and I believe now that if OA takes roots in India, China and Brazil then it will be easy all the way. It is doing well in Brazil. It is up to us to adopt it wholeheartedly in India. There have been some efforts, but a lot more remains to be done and done in an organized way. I believe the LIS professionals in academia can play an important role in finishing the unfinished tasks. Best wishes.
