Dear Colleague, We are pleased to inform you about the 7th International Workshop in Big Data Benchmarking (WBDB 2015), which will be held in India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, on December 14-15, 2015. WBDB 2015 will be organized in collaboration with the Center for Large-Scale Data Systems, San Diego Supercomputer Center, University of California San Diego, USA, Indian Statistical Institute, Delhi Centre, and Indian Institute of Public Health (IIPH), Hyderabad. Formed in 2012, WBDB has become a leading international forum for discussing and disseminating the latest trends, challenges, and ideas around big data benchmarking and related applications in industry and research. As part of this international workshop series, WBDB 2015 in New Delhi welcomes participation from students, research scholars, faculty members and professionals from the industry, academia and the government administration. The keynote speakers will be Prof. Michael J. Franklin, Thomas M. Siebel Professor and Chair of Computer Science Division in University of California Berkeley, USA, and Director of Algorithms, Machines, and People Laboratory ("AMPLab"); and Dr. Mukund Desphande, Head of Analytics, Persistent Systems, Pune, India.
