Dear KALA Member friends, As you all know that the KALA Elections have been declared and General Body Meeting has been scheduled on 28th of July 2019 Election Notification may be downloaded from the following link: http://kalaonline.com/sites/default/files/election-notification.pdf As per the Election Notification, the last date for submitting the nominations for the membership of the Governing Council of KALA was today @ 5pm the 15th July 2019. However there were totally six nominations were received by the end of the last date. Hence inconsultation with the President and office bearers of KALA, I declare and reschedule the calender of events as under: Last Date for submission of Nominations: 5pm on 22-07-2019 Last date for withdrawal of applications: 5pm on 23-07-2019 Scrutiny and final declaration of valid nominations: 5pm on 24-07-2019 However, the date of General Body Meeting and the Election will be as per the earlier schedule ie,. : 28-07-2019 I request all the KALA Members to take this election process seriously and encourage competent candidates to file their nominations to take the KALA to the greater heights.
