The scholarship is available for the second semester of academic year 2019 entry (beginning January 2020). Applicants with bachelor degree (with honours) are also eligible. The applicants must meet the admission qualifications and requirements and have a research interest in one of the following areas: - personal digital archiving - personal health records - participatory/community archives - research data management and/or services. We welcome applicants from all academic backgrounds. However, a background or an experience in one of these areas would be advantageous: - data mining/machine learning - natural language processing/understanding/generation - user interface design/user experience design/interaction design/service design. The recipient will become a member of either the Arc of Memory Research Unit or the Behavioral Research and Informatics in Social Science Research Unit. The scholarship covers partial tution fee, competitive monthly stipends, and housing allowance up to 3 years for the recipient entering with master's degree and up to 5 years for the recipient entering with bachelor's degree.
