Owing to some administrative problems the issues of the journal for 2017 could not be published. RCIS is pleased to inform information professionals that the journal “Information Studies” has been revived and will continue to be published from this year. The PES University, Bengaluru has joined hands with RCIS to jointly publish the journal with the following enhanced scope. The scope of the Journal will include the following areas: * Information Organization * Access to Information * Information Policy * Tools and Technologies for Information Handling * Information Profession Dr. Kavi Mahesh, Director, Indian Institute of Information Technology, Dharwad will be the chief editor of the journal and the editorial board includes such eminent persons as Prof. M. Anandakrishnan (Former Chairman, Board of Governors, IIT Kanpur), Prof. K. Balasubramanya Murthy, Vice Chancellor, PES University, Prof. S. Parthasarathy (Former Head, INSDOC), Mr. N. V. Sathyanarayana, Chiarman and MD, Informatics (India) and others. The editorial board and publishers have pleasure in inviting manuscripts for publication in the journal, which will continue as a peer-reviewed quarterly publication.
