Dear Colleagues The Department of Studies in Library and Information Science, University of Mysore, Manasagangothri, Mysuru is organizing a Two Day National Workshop on “Quality Research Methodology & Writing, Publishing Skills for Researchers” on 26th & 27th July 2019. The main speaker is Prof. Yateendra Joshi, a freelance copy editor of scientific texts and the author of ‘Communicating in Style’, a member of the editorial board of ‘Information Design Journal’, and an ‘Associate Fellow of Communication Research Institute, Australia’. Other resource persons, including the faculty from the Department, will address the participants on various issues of importance. The workshop will cover various topics including but not limited to review of literature, compilation of bibliography, searching databases, publishing in high-impact-factor journals, reporting for journals/thesis, presentation of data, plagiarism and other issues. *Who can participate?* The workshop is very useful to all the: - Faculty Members - Research Scholars - PhD Course work Students, and - Project Assistants *Registration:* Registration and participation are on first cum first serve basis.
