I do not know rules and regulations governing banned books. If public sale and open promotion are only prohibited, any one knowing about a banned book from official banned book notifications should be in a position to obtain a copy directly from the publisher. Conducting an event, exhibition, to access banned books in the name of freedom of choice to read will only beat the intent of banning books. Dear members, books are banned on some philosophy and and for objectionable contents. They are banned in the interest of community and society. Why such books are to be exhibited and promoted?. Freedom of expression need not be promoted by exhibiting banned books. They're are many other ways.
