Dear LIS Forum Friends, Greetings from MyLISA Mysore! Wish to share with you the success story of Pusthaka (Book) Dasara 2014 which was concluded by organizing Book Exhibition and Donation program. MyLISA received more than 2000+ books by 36 donors during Pusthala Dasara 2014. The same was exhibited and donated to 38 libraries during the event held on October 13, 2014. The event was inaugurated by Prof. S. Indumati, Dean of Faculty of Arts, University of Mysore and Former Vice-Chancellor of Davanagere University. 4 school libraries, 2 medical college libraries, 4 engineering college libraries, 3 NGO serving the children, 12 PU college libraries and 13 first grade college libraries are the beneficiaries. The event was organized in collaboration with Mysore University Library; Department of Library and Information Science, University of Mysore; and Rotary Mysore North.
