The INFORMATION WORLD has many professionals and stakeholders - The new

profession of Information Science is increasingly becoming an active

To constantly be in search for a unified vision in this fast changing
multi-professional discipline, IIT-B and Informatics are jointly organizing
InfoVision 2005, an annual event, partnered and sponsored by a host of
national and international organizations and companies. The event is
unique. It aims to bring together all stake holders involved in Information
Management, E-Learning, Data Mining, Publishing, Digital Libraries and
related technologies under one forum.
The program is modeled as a Summit with six panel debates and seven keynotes
involving leaders and visionaries in the diverse fields of information
sciences and management. There are over 30 invited speakers and panelists,
from India and abroad, from diverse disciplines connected with IM & KM, to
enrich the event with their vision of e-information world.
