Dear Friends, I am very happy to note that, librarians are trying to learn about the NewGenLib open source software and many libraries are comming forward to conduct the training workshop on NewGenLib software. Bangalore University also has planned to conduct series of training programmes on NewGenLib software for the benefit of College Libraries affiliated to Bangalore University. The tentative programme is as Under: 1st Workshop: from 19-22, May 2008 2nd Workshop: from 02-05, June 2008 3rd Workshop: from 116-19, June 2008 4thWorkshop: from 30th,June to 3rd,July 2008 5th Workshop: from 14-17, July 2008 Interested Librarians of Colleges affiliated to Bangalore University may contact the University Library Bangalore University and register for any one of the workshops as per their convenience.
