Very interesting article (and the device that is developed) indeed. However, as I understood, it detects Arsenic. Dr. Vyasamoorthy has commented about the use of Copper Sulphate in glues in India. Copper Sulphate is largely used in India in glues as an insecticidal solution, which is equally important. If this is harmful to human beings, which is the right glue that is harmless but also keeps insects away? Readers should wash their hands after reading old books. I guess, there is enough awareness among the young readers today. All actions have reactions in the world. Old material is now rarely used. Soft copies of many are now available. But reading for a longer time on the screen is also not good for the eyes. So the take away is to limit every activity that does not affect health.
