Personality Development and Communication Skill Workshop at Visva-Bharati
Dear All, It gives me immense pleasure to inform you that a Three-day Intensive Workshop on Personality Development and Communication Skill was held at the University during 23-25 July and 10-12 September 2015 (repeat programme). It was organized jointly by IASLIC and Visva-Bharati Library Network for the benefit of the staff at the Library Network. The first two days were devoted to Written Communication (e-mail, texting, and other writing tips; e-mail etiquettes, five keys for effective writing, styles of clarity, strategy to cope with changes, ways to success) and Oral Communication (definition, types, barrier, how to develop positive attitude, how to get self-motivation, how to live with joy, how to follow leader and how to lead, storytelling for developing listening skill instead of mere hearing). Besides her presentations, the sessions contained interaction, painting, playing, acting, home work by the participants.
