Dear all Library Automation and Resource Sharing Network Project under NMEICT is going to organize the first workshop (on Ubuntu and Koha 3.8.1 including MARC 21 bibliographic format) of a workshop series during June 15-18, 2012, at Indian Institute of Chemical Biology (IICB), Jadavpur, Kolkata - 32. The workshop involves no registration fees for librarian of colleges affiliated to UGC/AICTE. It will provide participants Software DVD, Training manual, Working lunch and refreshments. No accommodation and TA/DA are available. Dear All, We must congratulate the organizers of this workshop which is free of cost for free of cost software instead of charging huge amount (3000-7000)by other organizers for Dspace, koha, greenstone etc. Kindly take advantage of this workshop, koha is much advanced software having web 2 technology features once you implement it you did not need to make separate website for library which reduce cost of one server and management of separate website.
