I am not up to that level from where I can speak on this vast subject but I feel this is a serious matter so I want to say that if it possible then National knowledge Commission takes the initiative to structure the syllabus of BLIS and MLIS and the syllabus must be same all over India, right now we see different subjects are being taught in different Universities, so the student who studied from the Banglore or from Delhi University have the more knowledge than the student who studied from any other universities, the differences in the curriculum makes a big difference in the professional life.
