The hands on training sessions cover various tools and techniques commonly used by end users to achieve their day-to-day work in Linux environment. After completion of this training participants should have a good working knowledge of Linux, from both a graphical and command line perspective, allowing to easily navigate through Debian/Ubuntu based Linux distributions. The training also focus on how to read and understand documentation of Open Source softwares. ORGANISERS Kerala Library Association-Kottayam Region and BCM College, Kottayam. DATE AND TIME Saturday, 27 August 2016. 9-30 AM to 4 PM. VENUE: BCM College, Kottayam. WHO CAN PARTICIPATE? Experienced computer users who have limited or no previous exposure to Linux. PEDAGOGY: Hands on training. REGISTRATION Registration fees : Rs 500/- Registration is limited to 20 participants on first come first served basis.
