Rajendran is a certified cyber forensic examiner from IDRBT and a CeISB from Indian Institute of Banking and Finance, CISP from STQC, Govt of India, a Diploma holder in IT Law and a Lead Auditor in ISO 9001 and ISMS (ISO 27001). He has worked for over three decades in Indian Overseas Bank, including about 15 years in its IT Department, heading areas like Information Systems Security, IS Audit Policy etc. Now he is practicing as an advocate mainly handling cyber-crime and banking security related cases, and as a trainer and consultant on banking law, information security, cyber law and crimes on electronic delivery channels in banks like ATMs, Internet Banking etc. He has authored books on “IT Security for Bankers” and “Cyber Crime in Banks” on behalf of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF) as its course-ware for the certificate course, He has also published articles in the “Indian Banker” of Indian Banks’ Association, CSI Communications, DSA Security magazine on topics like “Cyber Espionage”, ‘Cyber Laws’ etc and appeared in print media and electronic media on various occasions on issues relating to ATM Frauds, Internet Banking Crimes, Credit Card Frauds, Data Privacy etc. He is a guest faculty and invited speaker on Cyber Crimes, Banking Laws and related topics in industry bodies like CII, FICCI Reserve Bank of India, Gujarat State Forensic University, IITs, and various Universities and academic institutions including the staff colleges of various banks, police training colleges in Tamil Nadu.
