Dear Mr Bharti Kalra, It is possible to store your photos in a folder as a digital archive and make them available to all intranet users with a web front-end for search and retrieve with any of the the given metadata with Winisis/ GenisisWeb software in Windows platform. The mechanism is to create a database of the photos with a link to its stored location with Wiisis software and the GenisisWeb will make it accessible over the intranet. On searching and clicking on the link the photo will be opened by using the photo viewer in the computer. this would be the most simple kind of archive. Both the software are free.
