I take great pleasure in informing you that DELNET is organising a one-day Brainstorming Seminar on Current Issues in Library & Information Science: Emerging Challenges on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at DELNET, JNU Campus, New Delhi. The seminar is organised to deliberate on the major issues concerning libraries and LIS professionals in the current scenario. A number of senior LIS experts will be sharing their views and there will be a number of highly interactive sessions to dwelve upon those issues. The subject is very important keeping in view the changing information scenario,users expectations & needs, content management issues and the need for new skillsets for LIS Professionals. There is no participation fee for attending the seminar. However, only 100 seats are available, the registration by working LIS Professionals shall be done on first-cum-first-served basis. Please note that DELNET will not payany TA/DA to attend the seminar.
