The library team will be responsible for managing data centres, archives and publication units. *The roles & responsibilities:* The Professional Assistants at Chanakya University plays a key role in supporting various aspects of library operations. The incumbent will work across multiple functional areas, including information retrieval, digital resources, circulation desk, document processing, user engagement and floor management. This position involves handling reference queries, managing events, participating in library marketing activities and assisting patrons with retrieving diverse library materials. *Qualifications, Skill sets & Requirements:* - Masters degree in Library & Information Science or Documentation (from a full time /regular program) with a consistent academic record. - UG degrees like BCA or BSc (IT or CS) or PGDLAN or NET / SET qualifications will be an added advantage. - Knowledge / Proficiency in MS office, Koha, D space, portal management & IT tools / systems will help.. - 0-3 years of library experience, preferably in academic / research organizations.
