Kaul Dr Kaul’s passing away is indeed shocking. He was one of the few outstanding librarians we have seen. On every occasion, he used to uphold the dignity of the LIS profession. We could see in him an excellent librarian, a poet, a scholar, an author and a great human being. A visionary, he has built Delnet, which is an envious institution in a sprawling campus with hostels, conference facilities and office infrastructure which we are all proud of. A keen networker, he has developed a huge circle of contacts, both in India and abroad, which he used for the development of the profession. I pray the almighty for his soul to rest in peace and bestow courage to his family to bear the loss. M.
