Rescheduling of the T.B. Rajashekar Memorial Lecture 2025
Dear Members, Greetings from the NCSI-NET Foundation. This is to inform you that the T.B. Rajashekar Memorial Lecture 2025, originally scheduled to be held online on Tuesday, 24 June 2025, is being rescheduled to a later date in July 2025 because of unforeseen circumstances. We regret any inconvenience caused and sincerely appreciate your understanding. The lecture will commemorate the enduring contributions of the late Dr. T.B. Rajashekar to the library and information science field, especially in advancing open access and digital library infrastructure in India. This year's lecture will be delivered by Dr. Madhan Muthu, Director (Library), OP Jindal Global University, Sonipat, Haryana, India, on the topic: Building Open Access Infrastructure Using Interoperable Technologies and Capacity Building: The Idea Behind T.B. Rajashekar’s Initiatives The talk will revisit Dr. Rajashekar’s pioneering work promoting interoperable institutional repositories and empowering LIS professionals through open-source technologies and national-level training programs. It will also reflect on the current relevance of his vision in the global movement for open, accessible, and interoperable scholarly communication.
