Dear Ms. Shivani Nayak My suggestions are as follows: You may check Library Science Abstracts and other library science journals to compile a list of articles relevant to your project work. Also, conduct an Internet search for articles. Check also www.findarticles.com (now changed as Looksmart articles) and other websites which carry full text articles from business magazines. There are also many sources for downloading articles from free eJournals. Request IASLIC library to supply copies of articles relevant to your topic from their collections. While you may make use of published articles relating to marketing of information products and services as background materials. you should not solely rely on these soiuces only. You may prepare a questionnaire and circulate it to all those companies in India like Informatics India, Bangalore, Global Information Systems Technology, New Delhi and a few others which are in the business of actually marketikng and selling information products and services and seek information on the marketing practices followed by them. Many libraries and information centres such as NAL, Bangalore, are providing a range of services not only for their own in-house clientele but also to outside users on commercial basis. You may send the questionnarire to these libraries also. If possible, visit some of these libraries to study at first hand tthe practices followed by them in marketing their services There are many private companies in India which are marketing and selling libary software products.
