ABSTRACT
Information consists of facts and data that are organized to describe a
particular situation or problem. On the other hand knowledge is something
that covers the truths and beliefs, perspectives and concepts, judgements
and expectations, methodologies and know how. Therefore to meet our
information needs, achieve our goals and target we are finding new avenues
in the form of �knowledge management� both in the libraries as well as in
corporate sector. In this colloquium we propose to discuss the concept,
processes, tools and techniques of knowledge management along with a case
study in corporate sector.
