Clarification regarding the leave rules of librarians in the academic libraries

Respected all, I have a clarification regarding the post of libraries in academic libraries. As for as my knowledge goes now the post of librarian is considered equavalent to the post of lecturers and the same scale is given for the librarian also acccording to the UGC norms, please let me know if i m wrong. Though the librarians are treated as teaching staff we come under non vacation staff as we do not take any mid term or other vacations. Thus, what are the leave rules applicable to the librarians? Do we have to work as non vacation staff and our leave is considerd on par with vacation staff. (leave here i mean is CL, EL etc.,). or the leave rules are considered according to the nonvacation staff? Is there any document in this regard please let me know.
